BREAKER PARTS & SUPPORT
Hydraulic Breaker Diaphragms
NEWLAND supplies hydraulic breaker diaphragms for the identified accumulator arrangement and breaker configuration. A diaphragm order needs the assembly reference, sealing geometry and required supply scope, rather than outer diameter alone. Send your parts drawing and clear component photographs so the proposed replacement can be tied to the correct assembly and any associated parts in the quotation.
Order the diaphragm for the correct assembly
In an accumulator arrangement that uses a diaphragm, the diaphragm belongs to a specific gas-and-fluid separation assembly. The shape and attachment arrangement are therefore part of its identity. A broad description such as breaker rubber membrane does not establish which assembly the component fits.
NEWLAND supplies diaphragms as an identified parts requirement. State whether you need the membrane only, associated seals or a complete accumulator assembly. These are different order scopes and should remain separate even when the items relate to the same breaker.
Record profile as well as dimensions
A useful identification record shows the whole component and the edge or retaining profile. Include the accumulator reference and any visible markings. If the original part is distorted or damaged, explain that condition and provide the assembly drawing where possible rather than treating the damaged shape as the intended design.
| Record | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Breaker and accumulator identity | Connect the inquiry to the correct assembly |
| Drawing and position number | Distinguish the required component |
| Overall and edge photographs | Show the form and retaining profile |
| Labeled measurements | Make dimension reference points clear |
| Requested contents | Separate diaphragm, seals and complete assembly |
Keep the replacement inquiry separate from diagnosis
A damaged diaphragm may prompt a parts order, but the replacement request should still include the inspection context. Describe the reported symptom and what the technician found without presenting the appearance of one part as proof of a single cause. This keeps the supply discussion focused while preserving information needed for the wider technical review.
Accumulator components require the applicable model-specific service procedure. The parts quotation identifies the proposed component; it does not establish a charging pressure or authorise opening a pressurised assembly.
Questions about diaphragms
Are diaphragms universal between breakers?
No universal fit should be assumed. Match the accumulator assembly, profile and reference for the actual configuration, even when two removed components appear to have similar dimensions.
Should I order a seal kit at the same time?
State the intended assembly work and ask for the required items to be listed separately. A diaphragm order should not imply that all associated seals or fasteners are included.
What if the part has no readable marking?
Send the breaker and accumulator identification, parts diagram and clear photographs. A labeled measurement record can support the inquiry, particularly when the original membrane is damaged.
