BREAKER PARTS & SUPPORT
Hydraulic Breaker Housings and Buffer Components
NEWLAND supplies hydraulic breaker housings and buffer components for identified breaker configurations. Housing shape, internal locating points and buffer positions need to match the assembly, especially for enclosed breaker layouts. Provide the breaker reference, component location and drawing record so the quotation can distinguish a complete housing from individual pads, blocks or other specified replacement items.
Match the outer structure to the internal assembly
A housing inquiry concerns more than external dimensions. The breaker assembly, locating features, mounting arrangement and buffer positions form a particular configuration. Two housings with a similar appearance should not be treated as interchangeable without those interfaces being identified.
NEWLAND supplies housing and buffer requirements as named parts or an agreed assembly package. State whether the purchase concerns a complete outer housing, a cover, a bracket-related piece or specified buffer components. This keeps the order scope aligned with the actual replacement task.
Identify each buffer by location
Buffer components belong to defined positions in the housing arrangement. Provide a parts drawing and mark the required positions, rather than describing every pad or block as the same item. Show the component shape and contact surfaces in photographs, and explain if wear or damage has changed the original form.
| Record | What it clarifies |
|---|---|
| Breaker and housing reference | The assembly configuration |
| Parts drawing positions | Which housing or buffer pieces are required |
| Internal and external photos | Locating points, covers and surrounding structure |
| Labeled measurements | The geometry of the identified part |
| Requested quantities | Individual replacements or an agreed set |
Separate parts selection from performance claims
An enclosed housing or new buffer set should not be sold through an unsupported noise reduction figure. Where noise is a project requirement, discuss the relevant breaker configuration and the context of any available measurement information. The parts description itself does not establish a measured noise performance.
If a housing or buffer is damaged, include the inspection record and surrounding component condition with the inquiry. Matching a replacement part does not establish the cause of the damage, and the wider assembly may need review before the product returns to work.
Questions about housings and buffers
Can I order a complete buffer set?
Yes. Identify the housing configuration and ask for the set contents and positions to be listed. The term complete should be tied to an agreed parts record.
Is a box type housing universal?
No universal fit should be assumed. Internal locating features, mounting geometry and buffer positions need to match the identified breaker assembly.
Can a housing cover be quoted separately?
Mark the required component on the drawing or photographs and provide the breaker and housing references. The offer can then identify the specific replacement scope rather than a whole assembly by default.
