NLB160 Box Type Hydraulic Breaker

NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image
The NEWLAND NLB160 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 40-55 Ton, 200-250 L/min required oil flow and a 160 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.
Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 40-55 Ton
Required oil flow: 200-250 L/min
Tool diameter: 160 mm
Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

NLB160 specifications
| Specification | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Suitable excavator range | 40-55 Ton |
| Operating weight — series reference | 3076 kg |
| Required oil flow | 200-250 L/min |
| Setting pressure | 210 bar |
| Operating pressure | 160-180 bar |
| Impact energy | 10388 J |
| Impact rate | 300-400 blows/min |
| Hose diameter | 1-1/4 inch |
| Tool diameter | 160 mm |
These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.
The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.
A 40–55 Ton option to compare with NLB175
NLB160 and NLB175 both list 40–55 Ton excavator ranges, so carrier weight alone leaves two candidates. NLB160 lists 3,076 kg operating weight against 4,390 kg for NLB175. Compare those reference masses with the actual permitted attachment arrangement, including the chosen mounting components.
The hydraulic rows also differ. NLB160 requires 200–250 L/min and lists 160–180 bar operating pressure. NLB175 requires 210–290 L/min and lists 180–200 bar. Their flow ranges overlap, while their operating-pressure ranges meet only at 180 bar. A complete circuit review determines which candidate remains suitable.
Read the NLB160 and NLB165 carrier boundaries correctly
NLB165 has a larger nominal tool diameter, but its listed excavator range is 30–40 Ton. NLB160 is listed for 40–55 Ton. The two carrier ranges share only the 40 Ton boundary. The model-number sequence therefore does not describe an increasing excavator-weight ladder.
At that shared boundary, examine the separate model rows rather than treating the names as interchangeable. NLB165 lists 200–260 L/min required flow and 180–200 bar operating pressure. These figures explain why a carrier-weight match still needs a documented hydraulic and mounting match.
Keep the 160 mm tool and impact figures tied to this model
NLB160 lists 10,388 J impact energy and 300–400 blows/min. These describe different aspects of the specification. They help distinguish the model from NLB175, which lists 12,202 J and 250–350 blows/min. Neither pair establishes production in a particular material without matching operating conditions and job information.
The 160 mm tool diameter is a useful ordering reference. A complete replacement-tool match also identifies the upper profile, retaining arrangement and length. Keep those dimensions with the NLB160 model record so the tool selection and the original attachment configuration remain connected.
Compare NLB160 with related NLB models
Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.
NLB160 selection questions
Does NLB160 have the same carrier range as NLB175?
Yes. Both list 40–55 Ton, but their listed weights, flow ranges and operating pressures differ. Shared carrier tonnage creates a comparison shortlist rather than confirming the same installation.
