NLB45 Box Type Hydraulic Breaker

NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image
The NEWLAND NLB45 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 1.2-3.0 Ton, 20-40 L/min required oil flow and a 45 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.
Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 1.2-3.0 Ton
Required oil flow: 20-40 L/min
Tool diameter: 45 mm
Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

NLB45 specifications
| Specification | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Suitable excavator range | 1.2-3.0 Ton |
| Operating weight — series reference | 129 kg |
| Required oil flow | 20-40 L/min |
| Setting pressure | 150 bar |
| Operating pressure | 90-120 bar |
| Impact energy | 271 J |
| Impact rate | 700-1200 blows/min |
| Hose diameter | 1/2 inch |
| Tool diameter | 45 mm |
These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.
The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.
A candidate between NLB40 and NLB53
NLB45’s 1.2–3.0 Ton carrier range overlaps NLB40 from 1.2 to 2.5 Ton and NLB53 from 2.5 to 3.0 Ton. That makes both neighbouring models relevant to a purchase review, rather than making the model number a sizing rule. The series reference operating weight is 129 kg, between NLB40’s 102 kg and NLB53’s 168 kg. Establish the delivered configuration and check the carrier’s attachment load limit before treating any of those reference weights as the complete mounted load.
Separate flow demand from pressure matching
The NLB45 specification gives 20–40 L/min required oil flow, 90–120 Bar operating pressure and 150 Bar setting pressure. NLB40 and NLB53 share those pressure figures, but their flow ranges differ. A matching review therefore needs more than confirmation that the excavator has a breaker circuit. Provide the available auxiliary flow and the circuit arrangement. The listed impact rate is 700–1200 Bpm; it is a specification range, not a guarantee of a particular production rate on your material.
Define the tool and connection package
NLB45 lists a 45 mm tool diameter and a 1/2 Inch hose diameter. NLB40’s 40 mm tool and NLB53’s 53 mm tool are different sizes, so keep the model reference attached to every tool inquiry. Diameter alone does not describe the shank length, retaining arrangement or full replacement geometry. For a complete breaker quote, record the excavator mounting measurements and any quick coupler interface, then specify whether hoses, fittings, bracket and working tool are included in the requested package.
Compare NLB45 with related NLB models
Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.
NLB45 selection questions
Is NLB45 automatically preferable to NLB40 because it lists more impact energy?
No. NLB45 lists 271 J compared with 203 J for NLB40, but it also has a different flow range, tool diameter and reference weight. Choose from the carrier and work requirements together. Higher listed impact energy alone does not establish a better match.
