NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image

The NEWLAND NLB53 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 2.5-4.5 Ton, 25-50 L/min required oil flow and a 53 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.

Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 2.5-4.5 Ton
Required oil flow: 25-50 L/min
Tool diameter: 53 mm

Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.

The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.

Where NLB53 fits in a carrier shortlist

At 2.5–4.5 Ton, NLB53 extends above the upper carrier limits of NLB40 and NLB45. NLB45 remains a comparison within 2.5–3.0 Ton, while NLB40 meets the NLB53 range only at 2.5 Ton. The series reference operating weight is 168 kg. Confirm the carrier’s allowable attachment load using the actual proposed bracket and housing configuration. A shared carrier-weight endpoint does not establish that the breakers have the same hydraulic demand or that their mounting arrangements are interchangeable.

Read the 406 J and flow figures together

NLB53 lists 406 J impact energy, compared with 271 J for NLB45 and 203 J for NLB40. Its required oil flow is 25–50 L/min, which also differs from those smaller models. Operating pressure remains 90–120 Bar, with 150 Bar recorded separately as setting pressure. Keep these fields distinct when supplying carrier data for review. Neither the energy figure nor the 600–1100 Bpm impact-rate range predicts job output without information about material, access and the proposed working method.

Use the upper end of the range carefully

For a carrier between 4 and 4.5 Ton, the catalog also places NLB68 in the initial shortlist. NLB68 has a higher 40–70 L/min flow requirement and a 325 kg series reference weight, so moving to that model changes more than the tool size. NLB53 lists a 1/2 Inch hose diameter and a 53 mm tool. Confirm the hose connections, mounting dimensions and complete tool geometry in the quotation rather than assuming a shared nominal hose size means the installation package can be reused.

Compare NLB53 with related NLB models

Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.

NLB53 selection questions

Why compare NLB53 with NLB68 near 4 Ton?

Their listed carrier ranges overlap from 4 to 4.5 Ton. NLB53 requires 25–50 L/min and NLB68 requires 40–70 L/min, with different reference weights and tool sizes. Reviewing the carrier circuit and allowable attachment load can help resolve that overlap.
