NLB68 Box Type Hydraulic Breaker

NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image
The NEWLAND NLB68 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 4-7 Ton, 40-70 L/min required oil flow and a 68 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.
Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 4-7 Ton
Required oil flow: 40-70 L/min
Tool diameter: 68 mm
Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

NLB68 specifications
| Specification | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Suitable excavator range | 4-7 Ton |
| Operating weight — series reference | 325 kg |
| Required oil flow | 40-70 L/min |
| Setting pressure | 170 bar |
| Operating pressure | 110-140 bar |
| Impact energy | 677 J |
| Impact rate | 500-900 blows/min |
| Hose diameter | 1/2 inch |
| Tool diameter | 68 mm |
These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.
The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.
Check both ends of the 4–7 Ton range
NLB68 overlaps NLB53 from 4 to 4.5 Ton and NLB75 from 6 to 7 Ton. These two overlap areas raise different selection questions. At the lower end, the NLB53 series reference weight is 168 kg compared with 325 kg for NLB68. At the upper end, NLB75 lists 413 kg. Use the actual quoted configuration when checking attachment load and stability; the reference weight alone does not account for every possible mounting arrangement or additional component.
A different pressure range from NLB53
NLB68 lists 110–140 Bar operating pressure and 170 Bar setting pressure, alongside its 40–70 L/min required oil flow. NLB53’s corresponding operating pressure is 90–120 Bar. This makes a circuit review necessary even where their carrier ranges overlap. The NLB68 setting-pressure entry should not be read as its normal operating-pressure range or used as a stand-alone adjustment instruction. Include the carrier’s auxiliary circuit information so the complete installation can be reviewed against the model’s specifications.
Compare tool size and impact characteristics
The 68 mm tool and 677 J impact-energy figure sit between NLB53’s 53 mm and 406 J, and NLB75’s 75 mm and 1017 J. NLB68 lists 500–900 Bpm, while NLB75 lists 400–800 Bpm; higher energy and higher impact rate are separate comparisons. Explain the material and intended work when requesting a selection review. The 1/2 Inch hose entry describes nominal diameter, so fittings, routing and mounting dimensions still need to be confirmed for the proposed carrier connection.
Compare NLB68 with related NLB models
Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.
NLB68 selection questions
Can a 7 Ton carrier be matched from the NLB68 weight range alone?
No. NLB68, NLB75 and NLB85 all include 7 Ton in their listed carrier ranges, with NLB85 starting at that endpoint. Their flow requirements and attachment reference weights differ. Check the carrier’s circuit, allowable load and mounting geometry before confirming a model.
