NLB120 Box Type Hydraulic Breaker

NEWLAND Box Type hydraulic breaker — representative image
The NEWLAND NLB120 Box Type hydraulic breaker uses an enclosed housing layout. Start with the NLB model reference range of 12-18 Ton, 115-150 L/min required oil flow and a 120 mm working tool, then confirm the complete mounting and hydraulic package.
Housing: Box Type
Carrier range: 12-18 Ton
Required oil flow: 115-150 L/min
Tool diameter: 120 mm
Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Box Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.

NLB120 specifications
| Specification | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Suitable excavator range | 12-18 Ton |
| Operating weight — series reference | 1463 kg |
| Required oil flow | 115-150 L/min |
| Setting pressure | 210 bar |
| Operating pressure | 160-180 bar |
| Impact energy | 2646 J |
| Impact rate | 350-650 blows/min |
| Hose diameter | 1 inch |
| Tool diameter | 120 mm |
These figures come from the NEWLAND NLB series specification sheet. Operating weight is a series reference: confirm the quoted housing, bracket, working tool and included components before checking the complete attachment load.
The sheet lists Ton as the carrier-weight unit. Confirm the unit basis against the excavator documentation. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields; these figures are not an installation or adjustment procedure.
Check hydraulic capacity within the 12–18 Ton carrier range
The carrier range is the first filter for the NLB120, with the 115–150 L/min flow requirement providing the next important distinction. Compare that range with the usable supply of the carrier’s breaker circuit rather than a general pump capacity figure. The listed operating pressure is 160–180 bar. Its separate setting pressure entry is 210 bar; the two figures describe different specification fields and should remain distinct in a technical comparison.
NLB120 versus NLB125: similar carrier ranges, different flow
Both models cover 15–18 Ton excavators, but their hydraulic requirements differ. The NLB125 lists 90–120 L/min and 150–170 bar operating pressure, compared with 115–150 L/min and 160–180 bar for the NLB120. Their listed flow ranges overlap only from 115–120 L/min. The NLB125 also has a slightly lower reference weight of 1,427 kg despite its higher model number and larger 125 mm tool.
The NLB135 begins at 18 Ton, where it meets the NLB120’s upper carrier limit. This single shared endpoint is a reason to compare the complete specifications; it does not make the full 18–25 Ton NLB135 range equivalent to the NLB120 range.
Define the tool, mounting and supply package
The NLB120 lists 350–650 Bpm impact rate and a 1 Inch hose diameter. Frequency and energy help describe the breaker, while the work material, contact conditions and carrier suitability affect the result on site. Confirm mounting dimensions and the final assembly weight before treating a proposal as an installed package. The 120 mm tool diameter is useful for identifying the size under discussion, but a spare tool order should also confirm its profile, retention details and full dimensional reference.
Compare NLB120 with related NLB models
Use these catalog figures to shortlist candidates. An overlapping carrier range does not establish hydraulic compatibility or mounting fit.
NLB120 selection questions
Should I choose NLB125 simply because its model number is higher?
No. The NLB120 and NLB125 have different flow, pressure, weight and tool specifications. For a carrier within their shared 15–18 Ton range, compare those fields and the mounting arrangement before choosing between them.
