NLB100 Side Type Hydraulic Breaker

NEWLAND Side Type hydraulic breaker — representative image
NLB100 Side Type selection uses NLB series references of 10–15 Ton excavators, 80–110 L/min required flow and a 100 mm tool. Compare the lower and upper carrier overlaps, then define the actual side bracket, connection arrangement and complete attachment package for the machine being fitted.
Housing: Side Type
Carrier range: 10-15 Ton
Required oil flow: 80-110 L/min
Tool diameter: 100 mm
Excavator ranges and hydraulic specifications are NLB series reference values. Confirm the complete Side Type assembly and attachment mass for your carrier.
This page shows one model from our range. Contact NEWLAND for other models, excavator weight ranges and tool diameters.
NLB100 model reference specifications
These figures are NLB series reference values for initial model comparison. Request the total operating weight for the quoted Side Type assembly, including the mounting components and tool.
| Specification | Series specifications / configuration notes |
|---|---|
| Suitable excavator range | 10-15 Ton |
| Complete assembly operating weight | Confirm the Side Type assembly weight |
| Required oil flow | 80-110 L/min |
| Setting pressure | 200 bar |
| Operating pressure | 150-170 bar |
| Impact energy | 2033 J |
| Impact rate | 350-700 blows/min |
| Hose diameter | 3/4 inch |
| Tool diameter | 100 mm |
Carrier weights use the catalog unit “Ton.” Confirm the unit basis when comparing them with your excavator specifications. Setting pressure and operating pressure are separate fields. Use the specification and mounting drawing for the quoted assembly to check the final installation.
Separate carrier overlap from usable flow
NLB100 overlaps NLB85 from 10 to 14 Ton and NLB120 from 12 to 15 Ton in the series carrier ranges. The hydraulic comparison differs at each end. NLB85 lists 60–100 L/min, NLB100 lists 80–110 L/min and NLB120 lists 115–150 L/min.
The NLB100 and NLB120 flow intervals do not overlap, despite their shared 12–15 Ton carrier interval. This is a practical reason to check the carrier’s actual attachment delivery before selecting a Side Type model. The broader machine weight comparison cannot resolve that hydraulic difference.
Specify the side mounting and installed arrangement
Provide the carrier or coupler interface drawing for the proposed side bracket. Identify pin diameters, pin centers and mounting width, with any adapter included in the drawing scope. Confirm the proposed geometry against the machine’s actual configuration rather than treating the type photograph as a model-specific installation.
Request the complete Side Type assembly mass and identify the bracket, working tool and adapters included in it. Check that defined arrangement against the carrier’s permitted attachment load and working geometry. The NLB series weight entry is not evidence of this side mounting assembly’s mass.
Keep the 100 mm tool and pressure record connected
The series lists a 100 mm tool, 150–170 bar operating pressure and a separate 200 bar setting pressure. Retain these fields as distinct technical references. The setting entry does not establish a carrier adjustment procedure, and tool diameter alone does not identify every replacement-tool feature.
Record the requested tip, upper tool profile, retaining arrangement and length with the Side Type quotation. Also identify the included hoses, fittings and return connection. A defined package helps compare proposals without assuming that an adapter, spare tool or connection component is automatically included.

NLB100 Side Type questions
Why is NLB120 not an automatic alternative within 12–15 Ton?
The NLB100 series flow range is 80–110 L/min, while NLB120 lists 115–150 L/min. Those ranges do not overlap, so shared carrier tonnage does not establish a hydraulic match.
