Start with the carrier and the job

A product photograph is a starting point for a discussion. Choosing a hydraulic breaker also requires the carrier specifications, hydraulic circuit information and mounting arrangement. Tell us whether the work involves concrete demolition, rock breaking or another application, together with the working conditions you expect.

Use the machine manufacturer’s documentation for hydraulic flow and pressure information. If you do not have those details, send the excavator make, exact model and a clear photograph of its identification plate. We will identify the information still needed before a product is confirmed.

  • Excavator make, model and operating weight.
  • Available auxiliary hydraulic flow and operating pressure, if known.
  • Mounting arrangement, bracket details and connection photographs.
  • Material to be broken, typical working environment and destination country.

Discuss the configuration before ordering

Share any preferences for the breaker housing, working tool and connection arrangement. NEWLAND product images illustrate the range; they do not establish model specifications or machine compatibility. The proposed configuration and its confirmed specifications should be reviewed together with the quotation.

Hydraulic breaker questions

Can I choose a breaker from its appearance?

Appearance alone cannot confirm compatibility. The carrier’s hydraulic capacity, mounting arrangement and intended application must also be reviewed.

What if I do not know the hydraulic specifications?

Start with the excavator identification plate and exact model. Refer to the machine documentation or ask your equipment supplier for the auxiliary circuit specifications.

Can I request a breaker and spare parts together?

Yes. Include the parts you would like quoted so the proposed supply scope can be discussed together.

Hydraulic road breakers for carrier-mounted work

NEWLAND supplies new hydraulic road breaker attachments for suitable excavators, backhoes and skid steer setups. For road repair, start by identifying whether the task involves an asphalt layer, a concrete slab or the formation below it. Include the layer thickness, retained edges and access restrictions in the inquiry so the proposed breaker can be reviewed against the actual work. The road-breaking attachment described here uses a piston-driven breaker to transmit repeated blows through a chisel or other approved working tool, with its mounting and hydraulic supply matched to the carrier.

A road hammer description does not establish compatibility. Confirm the carrier model, approved attachment weight, auxiliary circuit and mounting arrangement before ordering. Ask for the quoted working tool, bracket, hoses and wear parts to be listed separately. Our range here concerns carrier-mounted breakers; the supply proposal is defined around that attachment and its matching parts.

Explore selected NEWLAND NLB models

The NLB series gives you actual models to compare, from NLB40 with a 40 mm tool and a listed 0.8–2.5 Ton excavator range to NLB210 with a 210 mm tool and a listed 60–75 Ton range. Each model has its own required flow and operating-pressure range.

Start with the NLB model comparison table, then compare the candidate models with your excavator’s documented attachment circuit and mounting arrangement. Overlapping carrier ranges offer a shortlist rather than a single automatic choice.
